Services

Running and walking.

Two services, and that is deliberate. Whichever your dog needs, the shape is the same: collected from your door, out somewhere worth going, home tired.

Service one

Running

Some dogs are not tired by a walk. They need to move properly, at pace, for long enough to empty the tank. That is what this is — a real run on trails and open ground, with someone who runs it with them rather than watching from a bench.

It suits high-energy dogs, working breeds, and the ones who come back from a walk still looking for something to do. If your dog is better suited to a walk, Hugo will say so at the consultation.

Service two

Walking

A proper walk at the dog's own pace — woods, water, and time to sniff everything worth sniffing. Small groups, matched by temperament, so the nervous ones are not thrown in with the boisterous ones.

Six dogs a walk, at most. That cap is the whole point: it is what lets Hugo actually watch each dog rather than manage a crowd.

Both services

What you get either way

Door to door

Collected from your door and brought home by Hugo, in his own transport. You do not need to be in.

The same face

Hugo, every time. No rota, no stranger at the door, no dog wondering who this is.

A free first visit

Every service starts with a free consultation at your door, about 30 minutes. Hugo learns about your dog to gauge which pack suits them, and your dog gets time with Hugo. No pressure, no obligation, no charge.

DBS checked, fully insured

Both current, both on file. Ask to see either and Hugo will show you.

A WhatsApp after every outing

A message and a photo from the walk or run, so you always know how it went.

Towelled off before home

Every muddy dog is towel dried before coming home. Feeding and medication are not part of the service.

Good to know

The practical questions

Every one of these gets asked at some point. Answering them here saves a phone call.

How do you get in?

Hugo collects from your house or office. If you are not in, he can hold keys for you — his insurance covers house key handling.

Cancellations

24 hours’ notice, by message or email. A late cancellation is charged.

Bad weather

Out rain or shine. In a heatwave the pack goes out very early to beat the heat, or the outing is cancelled — safety first, with plenty of notice.

Booking and paying

Two days’ notice for a booking, and every new member starts with a free get-to-know visit. Bank transfer or cash.

Canine first aid

Not yet — Hugo is looking to complete a canine first aid course in the coming months. DBS and insurance are both current.

Enquiry

Not sure which one suits your dog?

That is what the first visit is for. Hugo will meet your dog, watch how they are, and tell you honestly whether they want a run or a walk.
